Week 2. I don't cheat, I win creatively

The challenge
No shopping for 2 months. That is the challenge I have set myself. Not too difficult, right? Well, for me it is. Shopping is so much fun, and I didn't expect the first week to be so difficult.
The crux of the problem is that I am currently not buying anymore, but secretly I still shop. My digital basket of my favorite brands is simply full. Actually I should stop doing that too, but officially I am not breaking the rules, right?
Look, look, don't buy
Like last week, when I was on Vinted (because looking is allowed, right?!) and found the perfect apple green pumps from Jimmy Choo. For a song. And those pumps match my new apple green suit perfectly, bought in April when I could still shop to my heart's content. Big dilemma, because buying them myself was not possible. So, full of courage, I asked my partner if he wanted to buy them as a gift for an anniversary that I have yet to come up with. But I was laughed at, rightly so. Those shoes have since been sold to someone else and I'll be honest: it still hurts a little.
I know for sure that if I stop looking I will be tempted much less. On the other hand, it's a slow process and quitting won't speed it up. So, looking for that happy medium!

The Jimmy Choo's....brb just crying
Borrowing as an alternative to buying?
So I thought if I can't buy it, maybe it's an idea to borrow it? And how convenient is it that the owner of the Community of Closets is one of your best friends?! And borrowing is a kind of transition period for me, love it! For example, I recently had a cocktail evening. I wanted something sexy and as my first borrowing experience I chose this beautiful red dress made of vegan silk . The dress was great, the evening was wonderful and I still stuck to my challenge 😊
On to next week!
